Local Republican Leader Appointed to Board
of National Federation of Republican Women
ALEXANDRIA, Va. – A local Republican woman leader will serve on the Board of Directors of the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW) during the 2016-2017 term.
NFRW President Carrie Almond has appointed Janice Williamson of Salem to the National Federation of Republican Women’s Board of Directors, which is responsible for the basic operation of the Federation.
“With the 2016 elections just months away, the NFRW is gearing up to help Republicans across the country win races at the local, state and national levels,” Almond said. “We are pleased that Janice is going to play a key role in this effort by sharing her talents and ideas with our members across the nation.”

Founded in 1938, the NFRW has thousands of active members in local clubs across the nation, making it one of the largest women’s political organizations in the country.
